I can certainly see the tactic work, but its literally no different from literally dumping a hero for another. swapping out random heroes during game JUST BASED ON LEVEL usually means bad pre-planning :L i mean, you choose your heroes at the start, and the only reason why youd replace a hero in-game is because youre either looking for that one hero you need, or just because a hero you find is simply better or has the passives you need for you actual situation. I fail to see the idea of wanting to replace a deliberately low level character with a higher level character throughout the game as a strategy.

after all you're not expecting the smartypants to take elise's minigun and start blasting through hordes.Īnd my take specifically on the idea of "re-recruiting": equip your low level ops with high WIT, let stronk slavic demolady pumped up asuka and iron maiden to take care of the job. "but tsuntsun!! if you leave low lvl ops behind they wont do good with wit!!111 qqqqq" i mean heck, operating is more viable mid-game than developing whatever you can with science.Īnd about food, its important especially in the late-game, where if RNG doesen't shine upon you, you WILL use that food that stacked up to heal yourself as you escape if you're going for the rough escape, or you have a floor with not many defenses and you're relying on heroes, and trust me you will want to do that when you have high level heroes that you need and good operators, so you'll be happy you stocked up on that food. Imo leaving low level operators in backlines while charging upfront with high level tanky offensive/defensive heroes is quite viable. Ill grab who ever else i find on higher floors, but they will easily become bait the next time its needed. Instead of trying to out heal my last hero on the way back, ill let them die and use the food to grab another hero golgy is my main so even with the crystal in hand she can outpace most mobs. I spam as much doors as possible till the mobs are reaching the crystal, then grab the crystal and run for the exit. Pretty much once i find the exit i get every one ready to leave, my sprinter at the crystal and my bait around the last few doors. The bait is pretty much the one i use when trying to scrape as much resourses on a floor then GTFO. did you heard about it, and is there a way to make it work, at least paryially? while i dont do this with all my heros, i will usually have 2-3 mains that i max level, then my last hero is the bait they lag behind.Ĭan save so much food, but can make you crawl under the power curve with under leveled heroes. The problem is, recruits are generally inexpensive, but at a lower level of what you could buy by upgrading your heroes. Or, at least, do that with only one guy: dont level evenly, keep one that is low level that you ll replace by a new recruit.
